Special Session 1
Advances in Computational Intelligence-Driven Data Science Applications (CIDDSA)
Scope
The special session of “Advances in Computational Intelligence-Driven Data Science Applications (CIDDSA)” is dedicated to exploring cutting-edge methodologies and applications at the intersection of Computational Intelligence (CI) and data science. As CI and data analytics rapidly advance, data science applications are undergoing unprecedented evolution, such as drifting data adaptation, multimodal data fusion, and Out-Of-Distribution (OOD) data understanding. CIDDSA-2024 seeks to solicit submissions that present novel CI-driven data mining techniques, empirical case studies, and best practices to address the complex challenges in the design, implementation, and evaluation of solutions for data science applications. CIDDSA-2024 aims to foster collaboration and innovation in the rapidly evolving field of CI-driven data science applications by providing a platform for researchers and practitioners to share their findings, exchange ideas, and discuss challenges and future directions.
Topics
The call for papers invites submissions on innovative research and applications at the intersection of CI, data science, and applications. Possible topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
– Machine learning and deep learning approaches for dynamic data analysis
– Solutions for the latest challenges in training multi-objective complex models
– Data mining techniques for sensor data analysis and interpretation in applications
– Graph mining in the deployment of CI-driven applications in various domains
– Edge intelligent computation for real-time decision-making in dynamic environment
– Federated learning and privacy-preserving techniques for collaborative data analysis
– Cross-domain CI-driven applications, such as healthcare, agriculture, and automation
Submissions
The manuscripts should be written in English, strictly following the guidelines of CISe’2024. The Instructions for authors can be found at: http://2024.cis-lab.org/paper-submission/
All submissions will be blindly reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. Authors must not reveal any author information in the submitted paper(s), otherwise, the paper(s) will be rejected immediately without going through the reviewing process.
